When I saw you on the news

Helplessly standing there

The look on your face

I could hardly bear

How desperate must you be

To try to get to me

To risk your wife and child

To ride a sea that’s wild

In such a flimsy boat

Can’t hardly stay afloat

The war is not to do

With either me or you
